Just a reminder that Friday, March 28th from 10:30-noon is our monthly day to play games and enjoy fellowship with our church friends! We would love to have YOU come join us - I know you will have fun and meet new friends!
I (Gail) need your feedback for coming opportunities for us to plan to go. I would appreciate it if you would reply to this message and just let me know if you are interested or have a suggestion for something you would like for us to do. I look forward to hearing from you! Here are a few events to consider:
1. Vocal Majority concert Saturday, April 5th at the 2:00pm show
2. RoughRider Ballgame in late May (We could go in the church van)
3. Lunch at Huck’s restaurant in Dennison serving the BEST catfish ever! Again we would go in the church van so it would be fun!
4. What would you like for us to do????
Please just let me know if you have any interest in any of these events and we’ll make plans later. Thanks!!
Blessings to everyone,
Gail
The Glory Bees are an active, enthusiastic fellowship of senior adults who enjoy a variety of opportunities to get together with their Suncreek friends. We try to schedule an activity every other month such as catered dinners at the church, a tour of Cowboys stadium, concerts, plays, the Biblical Museum, a RoughRiders baseball game in the spring to name a few, and we're always open to suggestions from our members.
Join Our Email List If you are interested, just send an email to and we will add your name to our email list. When an outing is planned you will receive an email telling you how to sign up if you want to go so join us when you can. Anyone 60 years or older is welcome to join, and we need some of our younger friends to be drivers when we carpool to an event.
The Glory Bees Name
Our name came from a former beloved pastor, Kathleen Baskin-Ball who used the expression "Glory Be" during those special moments in life when God's presence with us is so overwhelming that all we can say is "Glory be"! As senior adults we have all experienced many of those awe-inspiring moments, so we thought it would be an appropriate name for our fellowship.
