Ever wonder what it would be like to see God (our Father) face-to-face. You do not have to wait for eternity. It is available to you now, in this life. When the Bible speaks of a longing for God, it speaks in terms of wanting to see His face. The Psalmist pleads with God "Do not hide your face from me" (Ps. 27:9). Furthermore, "In righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness (Ps. 17:15). Jesus says in the Beatitudes (Matt. 5:8) " ... you will see God. Fix your gaze upon our Father to find love, acceptance and deep, inner satisfaction with life.
Psalm 42: 1-2 " As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God, my soul thirsts for God, the living God..."
Meditate: The living and active words of God, given in love, makes us want to praise Him by singing all the more and listening to His voice, given through the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence.
