Introducing Trey West 

Trey is very excited to join Team Suncreek as the Director of Traditional Music Ministries! With over 16 years of experience serving music and worship ministries at United Methodist Churches in Texas and Alabama, Trey brings a wealth of knowledge to this position and a passion for leading others in worshiping God through music.

Trey currently serves on the communications team for the newly formed Horizon Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Alongside this position, he has had the opportunity to support local churches and music ministries by serving in various interim and substitute musical capacities. He has previously served as a music and worship director at Dauphin Way UMC in Mobile, AL, Keller UMC in Keller, TX, and Christ UMC in Plano, TX, among others.

Trey has been married to his wife, Becca, a 6th-grade Science teacher at Rice Middle School in Plano ISD, for 5 years. They have one son, Nolan James (born in October of this year), and a dog, Eddie, who is really just another son. In their "free time", they enjoy attending football games (Go Frogs and War Eagle!), baseball games (Go Rangers!), traveling, eating Tex-Mex with family and friends, and watching any sporting event they aren’t attending on their back patio.
