Take Action
We invite the community to our next event, Love in Action, Monday, May 22nd at 7PM. This is the next step of an ongoing conversation from concerned people in our community. We feel that the time is now to mobilize people of goodwill to make clear to our elected leaders that we do not accept the violence of mass shootings as a normal part of our life.
We would love your help in spreading the word that we will be looking at four areas of action.
- Advocating for Gun Law Reform
- Connecting People to Mental Health Resources
- Safety & Crisis Response
- Teaching Tolerance & Acceptance
Our goal is to have a resource person in these areas to assist in the conversation. We plan to reach out to leaders of other faith communities in Allen so that we can have a unified community voice from people of faith to speak to our elected leaders and demand action.
