Confirmation Class - Multigenerational

Maybe you missed confirmation along the way. Perhaps you grew up in a tradition - as I did - that did not practice confirmation as a step in the spiritual journey. Or, you might have come to the church later in life. You’ve heard the words “confirmation”, “sanctification” and “perfection”, but were never certain what they meant. Well, do we have an opportunity for you!

Confirmation is a very important annual class at Suncreek. Through the class, our youth (usually grades 6 - 8) are prepared to make a decision to make the faith their own, to follow Jesus as a disciple by their own choice. Confirmation covers the key theological tenets of Christianity, like grace, justification and salvation. It covers the unique aspects of our Wesleyan understanding of the faith, as well as our history as the people called Methodist. Participants learn about the Bible and the central role it plays in individual lives and in community.

Start this new year of growth at Suncreek as a part of a special 4 week confirmation class beginning Sunday, February 9th and wrapping up on Sunday, March 2nd. The group will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays, so whatever service you attend, it works for you. Come experience meaningful discussions on the faith, scripture, the Church and our spiritual heritage. This class will widen your knowledge, strengthen your faith and deepen your love for the community of faith.
