Building healthy, positive habits is a great thing, and growing spiritual (discipleship) habits is just as important as those physical, mental, and emotional ones! To kickstart your journey and to celebrate the new year, your discipleship team is promoting 22 Days in ’22! A habit often takes a lot longer than that to form, but you can’t form one if you don’t at least start (baby steps, right?). But, “Wait, it’s already past January 1st. I’ve already messed this up,” you say?! Nope. Good news! 2022 has 365 days, which means tons of opportunities to kickstart (or restart) your 22 days! Then, keep it up on day 23 and beyond! |
Take a look at several of the suggestions below- or maybe you have an idea of your own. Commit to doing just one action during these next 22 days and see where it leads you! 1) Attend church at least 3 times 2) Set aside time each day for prayer 3) Observe the sabbath during these days 4) Practice forgiveness several times 5) Try out a small group during these days 6) Volunteer to help with 1 church mission 7) Tithe for these weeks 8) Commit to reading your Bible for 10 minutes a day 9) Celebrate a daily “failure,” imperfection or something that doesn’t go to YOUR plan 10) Practice the power of “no,” so that you can more fully give when you say “yes” |
