We are the Youth of Suncreek UMC Suncreek United Methodist Youth is a group growing together in Christ through fellowship, worship, fun, missions and much more. We are dedicated to serving Christ by reaching out to each other and those around us. This means taking time to listen to each other’s joys and concerns. It means reaching out to the community and the world through service. We love to have great fun together and to laugh together. We enjoy learning new things and having new experiences. Sundays Sunday Mornings are the main event for Suncreek Youth this summer! Rising 6th graders through college students will meet at 9:15 in Palmer hall for a little breakfast and a lot of fellowship. We will then split up by age and explore our faith until 10:30, just as church is letting out.After our Youth Kick Off (LINK?) on June 9th, we will not meet on Sunday nights until August. Use this time to enjoy your summer!

Wednesday Night Senior High: When they're not off changing lives in the Bahamas, West Texas, and beyond, our Senior High Youth are invited to participate in 5 challenging Bible studies focusing on christian responses to social justice issues. We will meet at 7p.m. in Palmer Hall on the following dates: June 5 & 26, July 3, 17, & 31.

Jr. High Mission Trip 2013
Uvalde, TX, July 8-13 We will be staying at First UMC Uvalde and will be rehabbing houses, working at Big Springs Ranch for Children, the Wesley Nursing Home where we will visit, entertain and go through a dementia Simulation to help us understand. We will worship with First UMC Uvalde Youth and swim in the Headwaters of the Frio River. Stops in San Antonio and at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. Sr. High Mission Trip 2013 Nassau, Bahamas, June 14-22 We will be going to the Bahamas to do a combo Cantate Tour/Mission Trip. While in the Bahamas we will be working with Next Step Ministries to re-build the All Saints AIDS Camp. You can see a video here on what is going on at this camp. The journey of faith is like the journey of life…high points, bumps in the road, twists and turns. For those in 6th grade, Confirmation lays the foundations of faith that will be a building block for a life filled with purpose and passion. Please join us in Palmer Hall at 9:30am on each Sunday. We will be meeting throughout the year for meaningful and fun events. This is a great chance for youth to explore the roots of the faith and begin a faith journey of their own.
