Mission Possible Kids Begins Friday, September 24, 2010!!!
our mission-based program for children in 1st – 5th grades, will have our first meeting on Friday, September 24th at 6:00 p.m. in the education building. Agents will enjoy a bounce house water slide, hot dogs and hamburgers, games in the Round Room and a special mission to kick off the year. Bring your swimsuits and towels and celebrate another year of changing the world!
Mission Possible Kids
Mission Possible is a mission-based program for children in 1st – 5th grades. These “agents” will be assigned TOP SECRET missions such as making gifts for hospitalized children, sending cards, letters and cookies to U.S, troops, or raising money to end world hunger – all while earning Mission Stars for their official MPKids T-shirts. Preschool Bible Camps
Suncreek’s Children’s Ministries offer preschool Bible camps for children 2 years old (as of 9/01/10) through entering Kindergarten. All sessions run 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The cost is $75 per session. Registration begins on April 6th in the education building. Bridgeport Summer Camp
The United Methodist Church offers exciting summer camps for children completing grades 3 – 5 at its conference center in Bridgeport, TX. Children will experience a loving Christian community, fun games, arts and crafts, Bible study and outdoor recreation located on Lake Bridgeport. Vacation Bible School Vacation Bible School(VBS)is offered each summer for children in grades K-5th. VBS meets Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:15pm for one week during the month of June. Each years offers a different theme to help children grow in the knowledge of the love of Jesus.
Scouts
Suncreek United Methodist Church sponsors Boy Scout Troop 1299. Troop 1299 is part of the SouthernSky District of the Circle Ten Council. The Troop seeks to foster development of boys into young men with strong character, citizenship, leadership, and values. Troop 1299 meets every Monday night at Suncreek UMC from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Troop 1299 is busy throughout the year with service projects and camping throughout Texas , New Mexico , Oklahoma , and Arkansas .
