Children are a priority at Suncreek UMC! Our programs and events have grown dramatically in number, quality, and breadth. Our commitment is to provide ministries through which children are led to a better understanding of christian faith, bible literacy, and worship preparedness. In all that we do at Suncreek UMC, we seek to help children understand, experience, and share the love of Jesus Christ. All children are welcome at Suncreek UMC, and we have a special place for your child.
Our children's ministries focus on infant to 5th grade children. For 6th grade and above, see youth ministries information.
We offer Sunday School for all ages at 9:30am and 11:00am.
Each month, we take a bible story/scripture and explore it is different ways in each of the rotation classrooms. The Second through Fifth grade classes rotate during the month to four different stations.
Our 2nd -5th grade Sunday school classes join together at the start of the Sunday School hour for Sunday School Live! It is a time of music, games and fun! We’ll review our theme for the month and discuss a bible story. For 9:30am Sunday School, we gather in C122l. At 11am, Sunday School Live! is in Room C111. 2nd to 5th grade children participate in Rotation Sunday School.
